Danielle Gauss, IBCLC

Danielle Gauss, IBCLC is an advanced practice Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, ICCE Certified Childbirth Educator, and author of “Booby Fairy’s Guide To Breastfeeding” “Vagi-Tales: Memoirs From Down Under”. She is trained in Oral Tethering, specializing in the identification and treatment of lip ties, tongue ties, buccal and posterior tethering. She specializes in proper body work following frenectomy, including the importance of acupressure calming points. She has received her education from UCSD.


Danielle obtained her Board Certification as a Lactation Consultant through the International Board of Lactation Examiners and is a proud member of ILCA (International Lactation Consultants Association).


Over the course of her 17 year career she has assisted in numerous births and helped educate thousands of women about the birth process and breastfeeding needs of their infants. She had the unique opportunity to work as an IBCLC both in a hospital setting for 4 years and pediatric office for the 9 years before settling into her new home base in Irvine for the last 4 years. She has had extensive training in oral tethering with Dr. Rosanne Berger.

Danielle has been married for 21 years and is the mother of two beautiful grown women.
